Below you will find all the policies and conditions of service related to working with Jari Castle Dog Training. Please read them carefully as you are agreeing to be bound by them when you book training services.
You must advise Jari Castle Dog Training as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your booked session.
Refunds are not available for face to face bookings that are cancelled by the client, regardless of the notice period, however sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice. Sessions requested to be rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice forfeit that session.
Jari Castle is fully vaccinated and willing to work with anyone regardless of their vaccination status.
In the event that government imposed restrictions mean that your scheduled training session can not go ahead, you will be given three options
You agree to comply with any relevant government mandates such as checking in via QR code, wearing a face mask or isolating as required. You also agree to observe common measures taken to stop the spread such as maintaining a distance of 1.5 metres and communicating if you are unwell prior to the session.
All sessions included in training packages must be used within 6 months of purchase, with the exception of delays caused by Covid-19 restrictions.
Training fees are non-refundable after your first training session.
All equipment used on the dog/s must be approved by Jari Castle.
The following equipment is, in general, not recommended for use
If you are currently using any of the above I am happy to discuss their use with you and why I do not recommend them, as well as provide alternative suggestions and a training plan.
Travelling up to 30 minutes from Emerald, Victoria (as by calculated by Google Maps) to the training location is included in your fees. Travel time over this will be charged at $2 per minute. For example, if you live 35 minutes from Emerald you will be charged a $10 travel fee.
Please let us know if there are special needs and/or circumstances that are causing difficulties or hardships with your training.
You acknowledge that obedience training and behaviour modification is an activity that carries inherent risk. While reasonable preventative measures will be taken by the Trainer, you acknowledge that there may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. Although we have public liability and accident insurance this does NOT include any injury or damage that your dog might do to any other dog, any other person or their property. All veterinary and/or medical costs associated with a dog attack are the responsibility of the owner of the dog that injured another dog or person.
